I have DavMail running on a Windows Server and Thunderbird running on my workstation. I've tried O365Modern and O365Interactive, but neither seem to work for me. Without SSL, I'm still having issues getting the client to connect. I've submitted a cert request to get what I need for the SSL stuff. I'd like to enable the encryption features as well, but I'm unsure of the certificates needed to make this all work.Ĭan anyone point me to some good documentation breaking this down so I know exactly what to do in order to get this working? We are currently using Microsoft's MFA, but we are in the process of switching everyone over to DUO so I'd rather just get it working with DUO if possible. My goal would be to utilize the O365Modern connection method so they don't get prompted for MFA every time the client connects.

I have spun up a dedicated VM and installed the latest DavMail for Windows client, but I'm unsure how to configure everything and I'm having a hard time finding a thorough document detailing the process. I would like to offer them a way to connect via a DavMail server, but I'm having some issues figuring out what needs to be done. Since migrating our users to Exchange Online, we have disabled the ability to connect using POP/IMAP so they can no longer use these clients to connect to their mailbox. I am trying to setup a DavMail server on Windows that I can be used to allow some of our Engineers to connect to Exchange Online using their Mutt/Thunderbird clients. I am a seasoned Exchange Adminstrator that is new to DavMail.
